The World Partnership Walk was held over three Sundays this Spring in 10 cities and drew thousands of dedicated walkers who came out to walk the Walk to fight global poverty. While figures are still being tallied, the Walk has so far raised close to 6 million dollars! Thank you to all of our ambassadors, teams and their respective donors – and a special thank you to our national network of dedicated volunteers. Thank you for taking a few small steps to bring lasting change to some of the poorest communities in the world. Join us in 2011 and help us prove that a better world is within walking distance.
Congratulations to Catherine (Alia) Damji (Kitchener-Waterloo), winner of the Early Bird Online Draw a VIP Trip for 2 to the World Partnership Walk city of your choice in 2011.
Congratulations also to Ziyaana Kabani (Vancouver), winner of the Power 100 Online Draw and a 2010 Toyota Prius courtesy of Country Hills Toyota.
